Fixed prices, all ex VAT. An activity is one task start to finish, for example lay drainage, build manholes or install kerbs.

RAMS questions
How much does a RAMS cost?
£150 ex VAT for a single activity. Each extra activity is £55 and each high-risk activity adds £50. Priority next-working-day issue adds 30%. A repeat update of an existing RAMS for a new site is £85.
What information do you need from me?
The site address, what you're doing and in what order, the plant and equipment, how many people, the programme, and any drawings, photos or comments from the principal contractor. If something is missing we'll ask on the same working day.
What if the principal contractor rejects it?
If your RAMS comes back with comments or a request for more information, the first review and update is free. Further rounds are priced and agreed first, unless the comment is down to our mistake, which we always fix free.
Is a RAMS a legal requirement?
The Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require a suitable and sufficient risk assessment. A method statement is not named in law, but principal contractors routinely require RAMS before you start, and it is the normal way to show how the risks will be controlled.
